SUMMARY of the Emotional Intelligence training
Emotional intelligence is an important part of Christian maturity and healthy leadership. The way we recognize, process, and express our emotions influences how we relate to God, ourselves, other people, and those we are called to serve.
This six-day experiential training explores emotional intelligence through five basic emotions: joy, sadness, anger, fear, and disgust. Each day combines short theoretical inputs with practical exercises, personal reflection, small-group discussions, role plays, prayerful reflection, and guided debriefing.
How can I respond rather than react?
What do my emotions reveal about what I value or need?
How can I remain loving and truthful when I am angry?
How can I listen with compassion to someone who is hurting?
Where do I need healthy boundaries in my leadership?
How can I lead from love rather than fear, control, or insecurity?
What does it mean to have self-control without suppressing emotions?
How can my emotional maturity become part of my Christian witness?
The training is highly experiential. Participants will learn through personal experience, practical exercises, reflection, prayer, dialogue, role plays, and community.
Throughout the training, participants will create their own Personal Emotional Intelligence Map, connecting their emotional patterns, triggers, needs, values, and responses with the kind of leader and disciple they want to become.

Networking and Collaboration – Building connections with like-minded organizations and individuals.
Particular attention will be given to Jesus' example of fully engaging with human emotions while remaining grounded in love, truth, and obedience to God. His compassion for people, willingness to weep, righteous anger, courage in the face of fear, ability to set boundaries, and command to love others provide important perspectives for understanding emotionally mature Christian leadership.
